By helping make the Declaration of Independence, Benjamin Franklin made himself known throughout American History as one of the most significant founders of the country. With his contributions to science especially electricity, it now allows modern Americans the use of everyday appliances ranging from a toaster to a cell phone. Due to his hard work, he has forever changed America.
Writings
Benjamin Franklin felt that it was the press's job to inspire different aspects of common sense. His writing was used in the paper to encourage political debates fairly. He included his opinions and also his readers opinion in his writings. In Poor Richard's Almanac, he introduced a revolutionary view of using electricity which later led to faster traveling routes through the Atlantic ocean.
Achivements
Benjamin Franklin was a writer, newspaper/magazine publisher, first postmaster general of America, founder of several societies and volunteered services. He was also a scientist who came up with theories involving ocean currents, meteorology and electricity. He also invented the lightning rod, he was an ambassador to France, governor of Pennsylvania and one of the writers for the Declaration of Independence. With all of these accomplishment, strong moral values and very strong work ethic how could he not win?
